What started out to be a problem trying to configure Outlook 2016 on a Windows 10 machine and were not successful in doing so. I then spent several hours using Google and and trying random things and thought maybe it was an issue with passwords getting cached within Credential Manager. This then through up an error “ http://howardneildiscotheques.co.uk/mezj/index-of-series-sons-of-anarchy.html An error occurred while performing this action” clicking on Show Details then gave me the following:
I then when back to Google with this error and found several posts suggesting the additional of a registry key.
Locate Chester HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Protect\Providers\df9d8cd0-1501-11d1-8c7a-00c04fc297eb, created a new registry DWORD value, named http://sjfiremuseum.org/wp-booking.php ProtectionPolicy, and give it a value 1.
Restarted the PC and the Credential Manager opened fine and now successfully able to configure Outlook.
